Founded in 1995 as a software solutions provider for manufacturing organisations, MillenniumIT quickly developed into a highly respected process improvement consultancy. With this pedigree, MillenniumIT invested in improving its portfolio by becoming regional distributors for LightHammer Corporations' "Collaborative Manufacturing Suite", a middle-ware product aimed at bridging the gap between ERP and manufacturing systems.

SAP's acquisition of LightHammer Corporation in 2005 resulted in the release of MII - Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence. Consequently, MillenniumIT became the only company in the region with appropriate background and skills to ensure successful deployment of MII projects across a wide range of industries.

MillenniumIT has continued to grow at a steady and manageable pace through employing key principal consultants with specific backgrounds, such as database design and deployment, systems analysis, portal development and Business Intelligence.

In October 2009 MillenniumIT was acquired by Plaut IT, an Australian-owned tier-2 SAP Partner, with strengths across the SAP spectrum, but particularly active in Business Intelligence.
